Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and HIL LLC, a Texas limited liability company based in Laredo, Texas (“HIL LLC”, “we”, “us”), for your use of Chapter Hub: the website at getchapterhub.com, the web app at getchapterhub.com/app (also reachable at chapter-hub-omega.vercel.app/app), and the Chapter Hub iPhone and Android apps (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. Who can use Chapter Hub

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
Give accurate account information and keep your password private. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
Each chapter’s officers decide who joins their chapter and what each person can see. Officer features are for people the chapter has made officers.

2. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users in Chapter Hub. You agree not to post, send or share anything that:

harasses, bullies, threatens, intimidates or stalks anyone, or encourages hazing;
is hateful or discriminatory (including on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or national origin);
is sexually explicit, involves minors in any sexual way, or is violent or graphic;
promotes self-harm, illegal drugs, weapons or other illegal activity;
shares someone’s private information or photos without their permission;
is spam, a scam, impersonation, or infringes someone else’s rights.

Report and block: you can report any chat message to your chapter’s officers (tap the message → Report to officers) and block any user (tap their message → Block, or open your direct message with them → settings). Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and users who post it are ejected from their chapter and may lose access to Chapter Hub. HIL LLC can also remove content or accounts directly. To reach us about abuse, email contact@alltimestories.tv.

3. Other things you agree not to do

Break the law, or use the Service to harm your chapter, its members or anyone else.
Use the member directory or contact details for spam, sales or anything outside your chapter.
Try to get into accounts or data you don’t have access to, or interfere with the Service.
Copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give HIL LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display and share it inside the Service as needed to run it for your chapter. Only post content you have the right to share. You can delete your messages and content, and deleting your account removes your personal content as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Dues, donations and payments

Chapter dues, initiation fees and contributions are set by each chapter, not by HIL LLC, and are paid to the chapter on the web through Stripe under Stripe’s terms. Payments are not available inside the iPhone or Android app. Refunds, and whether any contribution is tax-deductible, are decided by your chapter; ask an officer. Chapters can also let members cover dues with service hours or pay an officer directly.

6. Ending your use

You can stop using Chapter Hub and delete your account at any time in the app (Me → Settings → Delete my account). Your chapter’s officers can remove you from their chapter, and we may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these Terms or puts others at risk.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise it will always be available or error-free, and we aren’t responsible for what members post or for information officers enter. Location sharing and “I’m home safe” are convenience tools, not emergency services: in an emergency, call 911.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, HIL LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid HIL LLC in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

9. Apple and Google

These Terms are between you and HIL LLC, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google aren’t responsible for the Service or its support. If you downloaded the iPhone app, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; we’ll change the date above and tell you in the app about important changes. Using the Service after that means you accept them. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Webb County, Texas.
